Welcome 2016 with a craft!!!

Hey there! It's Thomisia from the DCWV Social Media Design Team. Happy New Year!!

To welcome in the year, I created what was intended to be a wreath for my front door. However, once I started, it did its own thing. I had to improvise and ended up with a door hanging instead. I've made something like a door "bouquet", if you will. Just go with me on this one and we'll pretend it was on purpose! LOL!

For this project, I used the DCWV "Favor Boxes" DIY Project Stack. I think I've used this stack to create everything but favor boxes which is pretty cool because it shows additional uses for projects other than the obvious.

We'd love to know what your crafty plans are for this year! Better yet, I'd much rather know if you've ever had to "improvise" with projects that took on a mind of its own? Do you scrap (pun intended) the whole project or find a way to make it work? Let us know!
