Mother's Day card with Premium Paper Collection

Hello all!! Tina here today representing the DCWV Social Medial team!! Today I have a simple and elegant card for Mothers day that I created using a Premium Paper collection!

Working with the Premium paper collections makes creating a quick, elegant card doable for anyone!! I used only the papers in this collection, along with some white card stock to put everything together. Let me show you….

I began with white card stock card base. It measures 5″x6″. I covered it with the beautiful vellum sheet from this collection and machine stitched around the edges.

Next I trimmed the foil paper slightly smaller than the vellum and adhered it in place.

I used the gorgeous teal shimmer paper to create my window piece. I cut the window using the Spellbinders Standard Rectangles Lg and Enhanced Rectangles. I added the die cut teal paper from the collection under the window. Then I added foam tape and a bottom layer of the same shimmer paper just below. Then this was adhered to the card front. Super simple!! I added a ribbon, flower and a couple of pins as well. The sentiment was stamped onto the shimmer paper and heat embossed with clear paper to help set the ink. Then it was die cut as well.
